Even as a young girl, Marilyn started expressing herself through her art! As she matured, married, raised her family, and worked outside the home for many years, it was when she semi-retired with her husband, and moved to the rural town of Manigotagan, Mb. where she was finally able to dedicate herself to her artwork. Marilyn works with a medium of oil, ink and acrylic on canvas. She loves to utilize all color combinations, find balance within her compositions and yet be cognitive of the natural eye movement throughout her paintings. One descriptive word for her paintings are 'reflective.' She hopes she expresses a reflective moment in time, a memory, experience, or just simply a connection. In her attempt to share the beauty that she see's, she also feels she is sharing her connection or spirit on canvas. She hopes you enjoy's her paintings, as much as she has enjoyed creating them.
